U.S. Embassy in Lebanon

Location: Beirut, Lebanon – Awkar Square Area near the U.S. Embassy

Event:  Demonstrations against the U.S. Middle East Peace Vision are expected to take place starting around 12 noon, Sunday, February 2 in the vicinity of the U.S. Embassy Beirut.  The Embassy has restricted its U.S. employees from entering the area of the demonstrations.

Actions to take:

·         Monitor our embassy website and check your email for further alerts.

·         Avoid the area of demonstration.

·         Follow the instructions of local authorities.
