U.S. Speaker Program
Through the Department of State’s Bureau for Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), the Public Diplomacy Section in Beirut supports people-to-people conversations with Lebanese public on various subjects and topics. The U.S. Speaker Program can be held through virtual communication or travelling experts. In the latter, Embassy Beirut hosts distinguished individuals to share their expertise and experience with Lebanese audiences. The travelling experts would stay for a minimum of five days to conduct conferences, group discussions and individual meetings.
Institutions or organizations desiring American expertise may work with the Public Diplomacy Section to bring professional or cultural specialists for consultations.
